 Khaffire+ is by the National Champion *Bask++ son Cease Fire+++, and out of Khatee, a Khemosabi++++ granddaughter. As dictated by his pedigree, Khaffire+ possesses the quality, type, conformation and presence of a fine halter horse in addition to the athleticism and trainability of a great performance horse. He has proven himself successful in both endeavors.
Khaffire+ is among the few stallions with national halter titles to successfully cross-over into the performance division, having done so at a top level of competition - Open English Pleasure at Scottsdale. After only three months training with Ray LaCroix, and at 4 years of age, Khaffire+ placed Top Ten (3rd) in the Open English Pleasure Championship at Scottsdale, earning added respect from horsemen and breeders alike. Only months after his Scottsdale English debut, Khaffire+ suffered an injury that cut short his promising performance career.
As a sire, Khaffire+ proves that performance horses can be beautiful, and halter horses can be athletic. He is truly narrowing the gap between halter and performance. Khaffire+ consistently sires lots of trot with powerful hind ends, long upright necks, good length of leg, presence, coordination and trainability. He has numerous offspring that are both halter and performance Champions at the local and Regional level. His get and grandget have won at the US and Canadian Nationals in halter and performance.
